If your collection isn’t already harvested by the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA), one benefit of contributing your collection to PA Photos and Documents is that PA Digital will harvest the collection metadata and thumbnails for inclusion in the DPLA, a portal of national significance that exposes your materials to a vastly wider audience. The use of your metadata and thumbnail images by DPLA does not alter or revoke your reserved rights to the digital images, video recordings, and/or sound recordings in your collection.
